This story begins after the last scene of Bon Voyage, the last episode of the original series. In the time between the end of the series and the revival's release, I imagined things to have worked out differently for our girls. These were my thoughts on what could have happened. The first couple chapters give Lorelai her happy ending, then the focus moves to Rory.

**FORMALLY NAMED THE OTHER SIDE!** While reading other FanFiction's about what happen after the last four words I noticed that most show only Rory's POV. Not many people touched on what Logan would have been thinking or what was happening on the other side of the pond. (The reason the stories name was originally 'the other side'). As the story grew it kind of gained its ability to walk away from my thoughts and become something itself and I just continued with the flow. This story takes place 5 years after the original series ended. This will not include scenes or situations from the revival. Rory is a successful writer and Logan's business in San Francisco is really taking off and the only thing they are missing is each other.

In this story, New Hampshire happened and the story begins a few days after her Lorelai and Lukes Wedding. Rory has just found out that she is pregnant. This story will deal with the struggles they all face and how Lorelai, Rory, and Logan will have their lives change and how they are able to find happiness as they Take Back Control of their lives.
