Lloyd keeps having nightmares about Harumi, ever since the building collapsed and he was powerless to stop it. It doesn't get any easier when someone new dominates the news and later, the political election coming up. And the way he conveys to the people...unnerves him. But when Harumi suddenly turns up alive, they shockingly discover the ties Harumi has to this man, and what it means for the future. --- He had it all planned. From the very beginning, when the Ninja were only just starting to be known. That today, he would be the real one who got away. What if somebody else was responsible for the death of Harumi's parents? What if that person had planned it all beforehand, all the way back to S1, knowing how she would turn out? What if his real intentions was to get rid of the ninja, using Harumi as a scapegoat for his actions to get the people's trust? This is that story. Takes place at the end of season 9, during and after season 10, and can be seen as an alternate season 11. Originally written as a oneshot that was suggested to be turned into a book, after some rewriting of the first four parts of the oneshot, the story continues!

What if Harumi did not die and was instead incarcerated for her crimes? In a cold cell at the city penitentiary, Lloyd Garmadon's caring nature and past desire finds him questioning the beautiful personification of evil that pulls him there. Disjointed from his team Lloyd finds solace in the city at night. From the rooftops he watches life as it should be and struggles to come to terms with his past, the family he has battled and a love he can't let go off. Pushed to do the unthinkable, he sets in motion a journey into his own heart of darkness while from the shadows a new threat to Ninjago distracts his team from coming to his aid. Written after Season 8, so the events of season 9 are not taken into account. There's Jaya; a mini OT3 moment (just for fun), Cole and Nya are buddies, Pixane, Kai is super fiery, I love him; Cole & Zane on a mission, new baddies, new goodies, Zane's Falcon, twists and turns, star-crossed lovers & kissing... of course.

Jay Walker is a normal college student with a part-time job in a tea shop. Nya Smith, his girlfriend, is an equally normal student who in her spare time works in an autobody shop. Or so it seems... Unbeknownst to each other, Jay and Nya are members of the Ninja respectively Samurai, two rivalling teams protecting Ninjago against the Serpentine. Takes place after Rebooted. Due to a misunderstanding, Jay believes that Nya has chosen Cole and leaves the team. While the others are unsuccessfully trying to find him, a heartbroken Nya finds out she's pregnant with her ex-boyfriend's child (which kinda explains her messed-up emotions, irrational behaviour, and sudden dislike for pudding in season 3 😉). Six years later, Jay has left his Ninja life behind and is (more or less) happily working as a primary school teacher - which is where he meets an interesting little girl with lightning powers.
