Jay Walker is a normal college student with a part-time job in a tea shop. Nya Smith, his girlfriend, is an equally normal student who in her spare time works in an autobody shop. Or so it seems... Unbeknownst to each other, Jay and Nya are members of the Ninja respectively Samurai, two rivalling teams protecting Ninjago against the Serpentine. Takes place after Rebooted. Due to a misunderstanding, Jay believes that Nya has chosen Cole and leaves the team. While the others are unsuccessfully trying to find him, a heartbroken Nya finds out she's pregnant with her ex-boyfriend's child (which kinda explains her messed-up emotions, irrational behaviour, and sudden dislike for pudding in season 3 😉). Six years later, Jay has left his Ninja life behind and is (more or less) happily working as a primary school teacher - which is where he meets an interesting little girl with lightning powers. [WRITTEN IN 2022] An alternate timeline set during the pilots in which Wu and his students visit the lonely village of Ignacia in hopes of recruiting their fourth member. Upon failing, they will have to extend their stay, much to the Jay's dismay. But after an unexpected meeting with a peculiar girl, he'll realise that it may not be that bad, after all. When a dangerous stunt almost destroys the house and kills the ninja, Wu is lead to believe the boys need a refresher course, in the form of 4 girls as babysitters. Well, 4 ex-villain girls. The girls want out of a a dangerous past life, and the boys discover something much more sinister in the life the girls have left behind.
