People always say that sunsets symbolizes the beauty of letting go. A symbol and reminder that there will be times that even the quietest promises can slowly slip away, but also a symbol for new beginnings.
Anneliese Jolene Dela Vega's relationships and life always circles on this never ending loop. Where even the brightest things she held on to, slowly fades away, kung saan akala niya din na hanggang doon na lang din matatapos ang lahat. A bittersweet sensation as she learned to let go of people she treasured for the sake of her own peace and her 'new beginnings'. One of them being Jade Avrielle Sandoval, a friend, or maybe something more, that once gave light and brightness during the time when everything started falling apart.
She always loved the sunsets, and how it reminded her of the soft heart aches from her past, as it gave her hope that maybe someday, when the time is right, she'd be able to reconcile with Avrielle, who she once pushed away.
"Sunsets don't always last." She says. "Maybe that's what makes them beautiful."
For Anneliese, sunsets are bittersweet, but not always about letting go. But a reminder for herself that not everything meant to leave, is meant to be lost.
