This was written after being inspired by a comment on reddit by user u/Thecrazybrqziliboy The comment is as follows I don't think so, however, if I were to rewrite it, I would rewrite it this way. They got married out of obligation, the dispute to know who would be the new queen of Lugnica was never ending, it seemed to never reach a conclusion. So, the wise men made a decision, the 5 candidates for the throne would marry the hero responsible for the death of the 2 great beasts, Subaru Natsuki. And then, without any choice, they accepted and now they all live in the same mansion with Subaru. The story would show the discomfort of this situation, as Subaru would have to get used to the fact that he will have to marry 5 women, and 4 of them only one that he loves, and also accept the fact that well...He will be forced to have children with each of them for the royal line to continue. This If's story wouldn't be a cute harem, but something uncomfortable to read. Well, at least that's how I would do it. AU post arc 4 , Rem and Crusch weren't attacked
