once upon a time I hated this story and my younger self and took the anger out on you guys, who were also young and new to the world of fandom. i wrote this when I was 11 and as I grew out of it I made some questionable decisions on how to handle my past regrets. this story is not perfect and has some things i would not include in something i would write today. please enjoy my 11 year old self's super self indulgent creepypasta boyfriend scenarios. this is very much a product of it's time, and is baked deep in 2014 nostalgia for me. to all 12 year old creepypasta fans - enjoy yourselves.

"I must have hit my head a lot harder than I had anticipated, or maybe breathe too much smoke because this is definitely nut-case crazy. Or a very creepy dream that feels way too real for my own good. I can pat my subconscious on the back for that one, but at the same time, it might be a little over the top." When Melody set fire to a museum she didn't expect to hit her head on the pavement and wake up in a nightmare. But she does. And this nightmare is not a nightmare apparently--it's a curse. A curse that traps her into paintings. And there's no escaping from the wrath of a possessed painting out to teach an art-hater a lesson. You know her name. You know her story. You know her secret. She isn't like any other girl, not anymore. Jared Walker complicated everything; he told her his secret, stole her heart and showed her a whole new world. She knew then that she'd never be the same again. Ava Delaney is no longer human - she doesn't know what she is. She should probably figure it out. But there is much more important stuff that she needs to learn first: how to keep her new secret, how to fight and most importantly... how to survive a war that's older than time. She's not like any other girl, not anymore. * Please note that this is only a five chapter sample of the published book.

They say that people go there when they're ready to die. They say Death himself is a patron. That's where the tavern gets its name. Azrael's Stop. Watering hole for the Angel of Death. But that's just rumour. Ceph doesn't trade in rumour. He just serves drinks. Except, of course, that every couple of weeks, someone dies at Azrael's Stop. Azrael’s Stop is an experimental fiction and music project, about life, death, and friendship. It is the story of a mystical tavern and how the people who go there develop over the course of a year: Ceph, the seventeen-year-old bartender who has seen all his loved ones die; Tom, the depressed old man, whom death will not take; Rye, who visits every day, though he died a year ago; Nael, the blind minstrel who saw war too young; Lona, the mysterious hunter of the dead; Trin, the girl who refuses to deal with her past; and the crow who watches over it all, cawing only when someone dies in Azrael's Stop. Azrael's Stop is part of a larger storytelling project by Silverstring Media, Inc., and is best enjoyed accompanied by the Azrael's Stop Official Soundtrack, which includes music referenced in this story. "Who will we send after the little witch?" The room went silent as one of them stood up from her throne, pacing forward. Her skirts flowed over the marble floors as silently as a whisper. Every eye was drawn to her. "I will go after her and make her my slave." She revealed flawless white teeth in a playful smile. "It will be fun. Like a game." The other Gods relaxed, confident that Alice Cunningham didn't stand a chance. After all, no one could resist Aphrodite.
