The Kurus have ruled the earth with an iron fist and the possibility of a civil war draws all the vultures near to the empire's fast rotting carcass to scavenge to their own fill. Yet a blue skinned man with a peacock feather stands behind the only light burning bright, helping the near impregnable wall which stands in between Hastinapura's dwindling defence and the avarice ridden swords of the rest of Aryavarta. The son of the Thunderer they called him. The prince of lightning. An unknown regent works in the shadows fulfilling an undiscovered agenda and waylaids the path of the warrior prince like a hurricane, determined to uproot all of his carefully crafted plans. She is a mystery he would do anything to solve. A phoenix with snapped wings and claws sharper than his best arrows. They called her the ice queen. The princess of deceit. It is a clash of titans and the world watches with bated breath as the lines of hatred blur and emotions topple into the already broiling cauldron of chaos. As great men have always said, love is the sweetest poison, there ever was. Cover, banner, aesthetic credits : @that_sarcastic_gal

A promise. A misunderstanding. A curse. ---- **----**---- Sri Krishna's vision of Dharmarajya with Yudhishtira at its helm is very near to completion. The only hurdle left is to bring the scattered kingdoms of Aryavarta under one flag. And the only way, that is possible is through the Ashwamedha Yagna. Arjuna is tired of war. He would rather spend the rest of his life with his brothers and his wives at Hastinapura, in peace. He would rather focus on slowly and surely changing the virulent hatred of his last remaining nephew into something akin to tolerance. Yet when has fate ever favoured the third Pandava Prince? His life, a travesty of tragedy and heartbreaks. How will the invincible Dhananjaya, fulfil his dharma, the dream of a united Bharatvarsha, with nothing except his broken heart, the ghosts of the past to keep company, a brother he seems to be getting distanced from with every passing minute and the son of his arch nemesis who despises the very existence of him? On the other hand, Manipur is housing a cauldron full of secrets which is at the helm of boiling over when he finally reaches its mystical gates. When the past suddenly catches up to him, Arjuna is left standing at the precipice of salvation and destruction. Question is, what will he choose? ----**----**---- Cover Credits:- @that_sarcastic_gal

The friendship between Lord Krishna and the Pandava Prince Arjuna has been an eternal edict flowing throughout the undulous waves of their fated lives. Their bond so deep that none could fathom the beginning nor the end. And yet a diabolical twist of fate saw Madhusudhana rip apart the very bond the Lord of Dwarka has time and again claimed has been unbreakable, eternal and the most beloved, to him. Can Arjuna endure this separation from the one who has always possessed his very spirit? The one whom he has followed unfailingly, undoubted, unflinching, navigating the treacherous maze of his tragic destiny? The one whom he has worshipped his entire life? Sometimes a single change in a sequence of events can start a cascade of dominos which can turn the wheel of fate towards unperceived directions. The Great War of Mahabharata has already commenced. The Pandavas and the Kauravas have clashed in an epic battle of brains and brawn over a blood soaked Kurukshetra. The conclusion of this savage fight - the establishment of the ultimate Dharmarajya and reclaim justice against heinous evil which has been wreaked for power. #2nd in Dvapar Yuga Awards [Vyaktitva Category] The wife of Arjuna. The sister of Krishna. The mother of Abhimanyu. Subhadra has always been defined by the men in her life. Her existence shadowed in the presence of the more vivacious fire bred queen Draupadi, her story lost in the pages of history. This is her tale. A tale of honour, sacrifices, love, loss and the quiet gentle strength of the Yadavakumari, the jewel of the ancient clan of Vrishnis, fabled in the three worlds for her exquisite beauty. She who dared to defy society for love and to make her own destiny by force. She who guided the last generation of the Kurus to their zenith. She who harnessed her legendary warrior husband's destiny through the strings of her unparalleled wisdom and incandescent love. She who was designated the position of a literal Goddess and earned a seat in the hall of the greatest women to have ever lived in the age of the Mahabharata. PS:- Cover Credit : @that_sarcastic_girl

"Abhimanyu, the one who blazes through life!" Sri Krishna had declared on his birth. He was the perfect amalgamation of his parent's best traits. Formed of his father's unbeatable valour and his mother's suave wisdom, Abhimanyu growing up under the tutelage of the God King Himself, was everyone's favourite. "May he never be lacking of love." Arjuna had blessed his boy, slightly embittered by the malice of the world which had swallowed the characteristic softness which had always fought to remain in the Pandava prince's heart. Maybe that was why, the thirteenth day of the Great War which had almost seen the horrific slaughter of the sixteen year old warrior at the hands of the fiendish Kaurava warriors and their allies, saw a minuscule aberration in the canvas of a destiny pre written with blood. And somewhere in the background, the peacock feather clad Dark Lord smiled through His tears. Has the wheel of fate turned in his favour or will Mahabharata's unanimously loved boy hero get lost in the annals of history like it had been ordained? #Part One of the Moonchild Series
