**The Season Series Prequel (#0.5)** Isabelle de Haviland is hopelessly in love with Prince Leopold of Germania. Fortunately for her, the dashing foreign prince is her betrothed, thanks to a decade-old marriage treaty signed by her father, the Duke of Kentshire. But Kentshire is a rich and bountiful duchy, with Isabelle as its sole heiress. Whomever she marries will inherit her father's lands, which sit on the hotly contested border between Germania and Pretania. Refusing to be outwitted by his own duke, the King of Pretania summons Isabelle to Highcastle Palace as a debutante for his son, Graham, the temperamental crown prince. Determined to remain loyal to her husband-to-be, Isabelle is forced to navigate the tricky waters of the royal court all while keeping the meddlesome prince at an arm's length. But all is fair in love and war and Prince Graham is not one to lose at either...

**Only the bonus chapter is paid, the rest of the story is (and will stay) free!!** Libby Marks-Whelan is decidedly not a lady. Kicked out of nearly every finishing school in the country, she's shocked when her demure, straight-laced cousin Ella invites her to the royal court as attendant during her debutante season. What Ella fails to realize, however, is that Libby's brand of mischief is exactly the kind of distraction Prince Andrew is looking for during his inaugural season as an eligible bachelor. ***2016 WATTY AWARD WINNER - VORACIOUS READS*** WINNER OF THE FICTION AWARDS 2016 - HISTORICAL FICTION Against all odds, Libby Marks-Whelan is back at court - and no longer confined to the service corridors as a lady-in-waiting. With the start of the new Winter Season, however, the competition for a crown just got a lot fiercer. Now that there are two princes searching for wives, Libby struggles not just against the other debutantes but also against the monotony of court life in her new position. With the queen's disapproval aimed squarely in her direction, will she weather the storm to win her prince? ***Please note that this story is the sequel to The Season. Since there are many characters, backstories, and subplots that I won't be able to fully explain in the first few chapters, I strongly recommend you read The Season first!***

"What was the first thing you noticed about him?" "His eyes, they were a gorgeous rich brown colour that could captivate any woman to do anything he wanted within a split second. His eyes were a type of brown like sweet chocolate. The chocolate that could melt at the slightest touch of heated love. But then the sort of chocolate that can grow hard at the cold harsh reality or depression. I imagined that he could hold so much emotion and heartbreak very well from everyone around him... or maybe that's me" © JWritez 'This is amazing! This is the type of story I've been looking for xD my god' ~ @InsanelyHorrific 'I just want to tell you I love this story! I am so into everything. You're an amazing writer, keep it up' ~ @kittersisadorable Completed ~ 4.2.17

"Because you've forgotten what it's like to actually feel something." I whispered. Peter's expression softened and the only sounds between us were the steady unsynchronized breaths falling from our lips. He swallowed, the closeness of our bodies making my heart beat faster and adrenaline course through me. The feeling was neither pleasant nor unpleasant as I looked into his forest green eyes. "How can you make me feel so belittled with only words?" his troubled voice fell into a whisper and he gripped my shoulders. "Is it your goal to stand before me and pull me apart until I am nothing?"

"Father?" Said the small voice of my son, the hybrid of both myself and my wife. "Yes Castiel?" I say meditating. "Why am I different from the others?" He asked. "We've discussed this already Castiel. Now be quiet, please." I say straightening my back. "Yes father." he said sitting in my lap joining me. I didn't know what would happen after we got home or if Aly really was dead, but I know for sure no matter what I am going to take care of our son Castiel.

Michael was washing his swords while I was cleaning his shirt. He was oddly quiet and not so..Michael. "Finally.." he sighs when I heard him mumble. "Everything ok?" I wonder, when he stiffened at the question. Michael lightly sheathed his swords, the weight easily 2 lbs to him and walked over to me his hands warm to the touch, he brushed his thumb slowly across my cheeks. "I'm fine." He says, "I promise.." Seeing it in his eyes, I doubted he was really okay, but, I wasn't going to ask any questions, at least until I had to help him. After all, he is my Michael.
