My soulmate AU is a bit different than others tho (I think). It branches off of the hanaki disease, but without the one-sided love. If a monster and a human are paired together, the human gains the drawbacks of the bond, getting said disease. Bonds such as this are rare, but apparently not TOO rare for your case. The only way to rid yourself of the disease is to mix the flowers with your bonded's blood (monsters don't bleed, but as a substitute, they can infuse a small amount of HP into the mixture to have the same affect). This antidote is unknown, as is the sickness, due to it being mostly off the records for decades. There are some small studies on it though, but most humans don't find their monster soulmate. Lucky for you, the fates are cheering you on.

There's someone on youtube that goes by @FedeAG , and he makes a bunch of 'Omori secret(s)' videos. I take no credit for the game Omori (who's made by Omocat and others) or the videos, but I will make oneshots related to them. The events (much like the shorts) do not appear to be in any order, so expect that for each oneshot. Any video doesn't not belong to me, but pictures (like the cover) do.

**Y/n POV** Well... This was weird. Scrolling through YouTube in the middle of the night has its downsides. I was so excited when I saw dead plate, a full playthrough with several endings. It was rather unfortunate I couldn't find out where to get it, but that's what the videos are for. To play the game FOR you. Watching the playthrough was enjoyable; but a part of me wished that I could help Rody and Vince. Neither of them deserved the harsh endings, but it wasn't fulfilling to watch Rody call Manon, getting no answer. When I woke up in an apartment that wasn't mine, I was so confused. On my bedside table laid bandages and a note, saying, 'Good luck, Y/n. Here's to a better ending.' Sometimes, wishes do come true. Out of all my wishes, this was probably the worst one to grant. **Author POV** This is DEAD PLATE. It has dark themes of gore, blood, etc. Though, I will add abuse, a drunk addict, misgendering, and foul (censored *slightly*) language. If this makes you uncomfortable, please DON'T read.
