Hydra never stopped watching Belle.
Since his awakening, since his official integration into the Avengers, every beat of his heart is a provocation. She is their success... and their failure. A weapon that has escaped them. And Hydra wants to recover it.
The attacks are resuming. More precise. More personal. The missions follow on, the pressure rises, and very quickly, it becomes obvious that Belle is not just another Avenger: she is the main target.
Bucky understands him before the others. He recognizes the signs. The methods. The hunt.
While Belle hardens in battle, her past resurfaces in fragments: implanted memories, conditionings, incomplete truths. Hydra tries to destabilize her, to break her from the inside out, to remind her of what she was supposed to be. But Belle is no longer alone.
The relationship between her and Bucky evolves, stretches, strengthens. They understand each other without words, share the same visceral fear: to become a tool in the hands of Hydra. Where Bucky was destroyed, Belle resists. Where Belle falters, Bucky holds her back.
Between high-risk missions, psychological confrontations and impossible choices, the question is no longer just whether Hydra can recover Belle... but how far she is willing to go to prevent it.
And when Hydra strikes where it hurts the most, Belle will have to make a choice: flee to protect those she loves. Or stay... and become the threat that Hydra has feared from the beginning.
Because this time, Belle is not content to survive. She counterattacks.
