Vampires and humans used to to live in harmony. Until The Hunt began. Alesco is a 17 year old vampire. She and her family have been forced to run. To live in hiding, moving from place to place. They are hunted. 100 years after the hunt began, it looks as though things could be changing. This story has vampires, humans, magic and more. A school in an underprivileged neighborhood is shut down, and the city has no choice but to send the students to a different school across town. The only problem is that the school is in an affluent neighborhood, and the two sides of town have a deeply entrenched fear and hatred of each other. This is a modern telling of Romeo and Juliet, the story nearly everyone knows, but flipped on its head. A story of Love, Hate, Growth, and everything in between. Was Atlantis doomed to fall from the beginning, or was its ruin due to a series of preventable events? Can Love beat out Hate? Carmentos High— A school that is nothing but drama. Racist teachers, hating broads, and boy issues. It's a lot to take in, especially if you're a young black, African American student. Micaela is sixteen years old. Carmentos High isn't exactly her favorite this year. Especially, now that her nemesis Artasha is back and is ready to start trouble. Her ex—best friend, Kenisha along for the ride to see Micaela fall as well.
