"I tried to kill you as soon as I met you... Do you really trust me not to try again within a month...?" Cara Nielsen's entire working career has revolved around sorting out the problems of the Avengers and other miscellaneous S.H.I.E.L.D. members that surround them which is a pretty interesting task. From Iron Man to Thor, she's had the whole lot in her office on at least one occasion (many more with the likes of Stark and Banner), consulting her for advice or asking for help with dealing with what they do. Her agenda changes drastically however, when a new patient is brought to the building and placed permanently on her books while the others are reassigned to a new therapist just out of college. All she knows is that she'll see him every day to conduct rigourous psychoanalysis on what Hydra has done to his brain. Beyond that... she's in the dark. ©FearTheWinterSoldier 2016 ALL RIGHTS GO TO MARVEL STUDIOS

Malaya Ritch, a girl in her late teens, travels to meet her social media friend, Aiden Lividstone, in Alberta, Canada. But when they discover they were part of an elite band that specialized in keeping peace in ancient China, a target from outside the world is instantly put on their back. Aiden struggles to control his firebending from hurting those he loves. Malaya vows she won't lose him a second time. (Excerpt) "Um," Irene fiddled with her charm, "Malaya... she almost died." "What! How... who..." Aidan sat up again. Edi rolled his eyes. He, at least, was his normal self. Irene began fidgeting harder. She looked at Edi. "I can't, you tell him." Irene pleaded. Edi regretfully shook his head and responded, "Malaya got burned badly. She's had to have three ice baths already. We just barely got the news that she'll survive." Aidan went still. "You mean..." He whispered, his voice hitching. "No. Please tell me it was someone else." He whispered hoarsely. Irene shook her head silently. An adventure book with a friends-to-lovers trope (no smut or intensely intimate moments)
