GxG | Vampire romance | Trilogy.
Cosima snapped her legs tighter around Vanya's arm, locking it down. "Enough. I'm finished."
The Queen tilted her head, golden hair sticking to her damp shoulders. "You're finished when I say so."
Cosima snarled-and then groaned, too tired to keep the growl intact. "Vanya..."
Vanya studied her for a long moment, golden eyes glowing faint in the shadows. Then, deliberately, she pulled her hand free.
Her fingers were slick, glistening as she lifted them, letting the light catch. She admired them for a moment-like an artist admiring her brush after painting a masterpiece.
Cosima hid her face in the pillow, mortified and wrecked. "You're insufferable."
"Insufferably good in bed, am I not?" Vanya corrected, smug as ever.
Cosima weakly shoved at her shoulder. "Get my glasses."
Vanya arched a brow. "Now?"
"Yes, now," Cosima muttered, voice muffled. "They're somewhere on the bed. I can't see you properly."
The Queen's grin softened, just slightly. She shifted off, searching through the rumpled sheets until she plucked the glasses up delicately.
Cosima cracked one eye open, watching her through a haze of exhaustion. "You actually listened."
Vanya turned back, crawling onto the bed with that feline grace of hers, lips quirking. "Don't get used to it."
She leaned down, golden hair spilling over Cosima's chest, her lips brushing hers once more-soft this time.
"You're ruined," she whispered against her mouth, pleased. "My doing."
Cosima's laugh came out wrecked, airy. "Proud of yourself, Your Majesty?"
Vanya smirked. "Utterly."
