A book of poems, I've been writing through out the years. Most are sad and depressing and others are love that gets destroyed. Some I relate to and some I dont.

As Ernest Hemingway said , "There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed." And that's what I did because that's all I could. For I came across a roadblock, and I didn't really want to brood. Cover made by @-krishvpuffs_

[ Featured on @WattpadPoetry , under the reading list "Random" ] "Poetry is plucking at the heartstrings, and making music with them." They say actions speak louder than words but is that always true? This is a book where dreams are made memories and nightmares are kept hidden. Where you get lost and found through words spoken from the heart. Where I write harsh reality and hopeless dreams that intertwine our souls together This is where I write poetry. "Bleeding Hearts In The Dark" beckons listeners into an enigmatic realm where the fusion of poetry and song lyrics becomes a mesmerizing narrative of universal human emotions. Within this hauntingly beautiful album, the themes of lost love, relentless longing, and the stark, unvarnished truths that love harbors take center stage. Each composition within "Bleeding Hearts In The Dark" is a doorway to the soul, where love is a fragile, elusive butterfly, its wings adorned with the colors of passion. The verses and melodies intertwine like vines in a forgotten garden, leading us through the labyrinthine corridors of our hearts. In this album, love becomes a mysterious puzzle, waiting to be unraveled in the dim light of introspection. The lyrics are like constellations in the night sky, mapping the complexities of human connection and disconnection. Metaphors and analogies weave a rich tapestry of emotions, where love resembles a symphony of both joy and despair, and each line of verse is a brushstroke on the canvas of the heart's experiences. These words are the whispered confessions of a secret, shared language known to all who have loved and lost. Ultimately, "Bleeding Hearts In The Dark" transcends the individual and resonates with the collective human experience of love's poignant intricacies. It is an album that captures the essence of our shared journey through love's labyrinth, reminding us that even in the depths of heartbreak, there is an ethereal beauty in the way our hearts bleed for what once was, what remains, and what may never be.

A young writer's newly released first collection of poems. Written during the tumultuous and at times troubling years of high school and the more forgiving and enlightening years of college, Maddy Kobar captures what it was like to have come of age in the last few years. These poems touch on personal levels with hope and hopelessness amid the most confusing years of one's life as well as some of the larger issues facing our society- such as women's rights, LGBTQ equality and the fragile state of the environment. The poems are broken up into four categories; Love and Disappointment, At Desperation's Door, Voices That Speak for Themselves, and Life's Lies Unveiled (or Truths that must be told). This collection was originally released on Amazon in Summer 2013. I honestly want more reads and reviews on ALL my writing so I'm going to re-release this collection as a 2nd edition now for Wattpad. This edition may have differences from the 1st edition. I'm not partial to poetry any more. The quality varies between the poems. I wrote them all between the ages of 14 and 20.
