It's been a year since Bucky has escaped HYRDA. He's free, but he's still broken. Then he finds a girl. A girl who is broken like himself. He saves her, and they start to mend. Isabelle Miles. A girl Bucky found being raped early in the morning. He takes her in and she helps him. And Bucky helps her. They fight for each other, comfort each other. They mend.

After being kidnapped together by Hydra, Bucky and Y/N were the Winter Soldiers before being saved by Steve, Natasha and Sam. 5 Years later, Natasha went splat and Steve went back in time to have a life with Peggy, leaving Bucky with his daughter figure: Y/N. They live in Steve's old apartment and are continuously in touch with Sam. One day, Y/N is walking back to the apartment from school when somebody snatches her. Zemo has leads to where she might be: a secret Hydra base where they're trying to remake the super soldier serum but need a super soldier in order to do that.

Still, death seems to elude his every attempt, so he hires an assassin to kill him at a random time and place within the month. Unfortunately for Peter, right after he orders the hit, a treatment is discovered that would add decades to his life. Now Peter Katz has to start running, until the month-long deadline ends. Desperate to survive, he has to deal with tall-dwarves, unionized suicide workers, art terrorism and all the insanity that being alive has to offer. Will he make it to the end of the month?
