A way to free them from great heartbreak. Without knowing it, he created one for himself. Years later Tartarus places him on a mission to aid the Gods in their war; he went on to complete his task which unknown to him. He would stumble across his mate. A human girl with the powers of a dragon queen.

What if Percy didn't make it out of Tartarus? What if he sacrificed himself to let Annabeth and Bob live? In the desperate hour, Percy decides that he will stay in Tartarus and accept the Pit's eternal punishment of endless pain in his armor. With the help of a true miracle, Percy makes it out of Tartarus but with a great price.
