A goddess of love, you decide to check up on the human realm for the first time in years and you see a grave danger in the path of the worlds greatest detective. A little divine intervention can't be that bad can it? After all Shinigami are roaming the human realm, why not balance the scales a little?

You and Lawliet had been friends for most of primary school till he moves away in sixth grade. A tragic moment, but eventually you got over it. Partially mute, he hides behind his screen and solves crimes anonymously. Speaking to taskforces with text to speech, and no face shown. Until he's pushed into a corner with a particularly tricky case, and ends up having to make his first face to face interaction. (y/n) shows up to the hotel room of the worlds greatest detective, thinking they'd see a well polished, wise old man. Instead they're met with a tired, young and rather huggable looking guy with eyebags holding a torn notebook page saying "I am L, and I can't talk" -- GNC READER. Basically all language for the reader is gender neutral, anyone can read! Non binary mfs rejoice. When the eventual lemon hits it'll be kinda alluded to an AFAB body (bc marketing to my main audience yo), but all pronouns are they/them and there's no descriptions of tiddies or anything.
