It had been 7 years. 7 years since Apollo became a god once again. 7 years since Percy and Annabeth realised they didn't love each other, at least not THAT way. Everything was going normal for once. The only oddity being when monsters tried to attack either camp. The gods were spending more time with their kids, making sure that they knew that the gods cared about them. Life was good. Perseus (Percy) Jackson, with the seven, has came out of the giant war victorious. Percy decides to stay at camp to help rebuild and strength their defenses. Once, Percy and the camp have finished the rebuild Percy goes on a quest for Athena, to gain her approval and permission to marry Annabeth. He is greeted with a surprise, upon his return however. Meanwhile on Olympus, the tensions are boiling yet again. Not because of a threat to all of Olympus, but the threat of civil war. Poseidon and Hades both thinking it is their right to rule, Apollo wishing to escape punishment, Athena thinking her father's actions will be Olympus's downfall. Others join them, who agree that Zeus is a terrible king. Still, there are those who remain loyal to the king, but there are those who choose to remain neutral in fear for they do not wish to be punished if they choose wrong. On top of the threats of war the relations between demigods and their parents both sour and get better, depending on the god/goddesses. It's been a while since the Giant War. Annabeth sealed the doors with her life, and promised Percy that she would wait for him in Elysium. Percy went into a rage, he destroyed nearly everything in his wake, and wielded the Master Bolt. The war was won, and Percy Jackson was again, offered a wish, he was too distraught to think straight, so his wish was put on hold. Sally and Paul tried to offer consolation, but he turned than away, and left them for good. He went missing after that, neither Poseidon, Hades, or Apollo knew where he was. Percy had given himself to the Central Intelligence Agency to maybe do something good for a change. He was too good at his work, and quickly flew up the ranks. Percy Jackson was dead inside, without Annabeth, he was only a shell of his past self. He could hear her voice sometimes, laughing, yelling, crying. He soon became one to follow orders. As the years went by, he gradually eased back into the world, and slowly returned to a somewhat normal state. Then he confirmed his existence to Thalia and Nico, who quickly told the Gods, but only that he was alive and well. Everything was looking up for Percy and Annabeth at last. No more wars, or angry gods planing to kill them. They were closer than ever but going through hell together did that. Annabeth managed to escape Tartarus and join the seven in the war against Gaea, but Percy was left behind. Now, three centuries later the Doors of Death are opening again and nine heroes descend into the Pit. The events which follow, none of them could have anticipated.
