(Y/n) has known the Daley family since she were a little kid. She lived with her single mom in New York and goes to the same school as Nick Daley. But when Larry let's (Y/n) in on his first shift as night guard of the Museum Natural History, the two of them didn't expect to see anything talk, much less move. But when an unknown force tries to steal the Tablet of Ahkmenrah, things take a unsuspecting turn for Larry and (Y/n). I do not own any of the characters mentioned in the story, just the ones I made up.

~ INDEFINITE HIATUS ~ NOTE: This is a very old story! I will no longer be updating it as I have lost interest in the writing, but I won't be deleting it just yet. "You've got a warm heart, you've got a beautiful brain. But it's disintegrating, from all the medicine ..." -Daughter Madeline Daley is enslaved with melancholia. No, that is not some fancy doctor's diagnosis. It is merely a word to describe the torrent beneath her skin. Born to Larry Daley and his first wife, Alissa, Madi is a girl of eighteen with a colorful, beautiful personality. She smiles, she laughs, and she dances like no other with supple grace. She is certainly not ugly in any fashion, nor distasteful in character. She is kind, she is brave, and she is both extraordinary and wonderfully ordinary. But, most often, those who smile the most have the worst of demons. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. I do not own anything from the NATM franchise except my own added characters. This is an Ahkmenrah x OC. WARNING: This story contains references to mature themes including depression. These aspects are not a joke, and I respect those of you readers who deal with these things. I mean no offense in the way I depicted Madi's conditions and backstory, and I understand most of you have experienced it differently, but the way she experiences depression and anxiety is an exaggerated form of how I have experienced it.
