Jaskier decides to stay at Kaer Morhen after the fight with the basilisks that came through the portal. Jaskier had fallen head over heels for Geralt on day one. Then there was the Djin, the sorceress, and the fight on the mountain. It crushed Jaskier's heart. Geralt apologized, but it was a very...Geralt... apology. They were still friends of course, but Jaskier's heart ached. maybe he could help mend what was broken while at Kaer Morhen, or find away to repare himself.

After recently suffering from heartbreak he was happy to leave and meet new people elsewhere, but while staying at The Claridge's he seems to get stuck there, because of the Corona virus outbreak, and so he has to quarantine. Jaskier didn't know what he was going to do about a place to stay, when he gets a phone call from a friend who he had thought wanted nothing to do with him.

After The MountainTM, Jaskier gets himself a nice new curse to wear, turning into a werewolf. He's not aware of much, but there is still something telling him to go north, go to the mountains. When Lambert meets the werewolf on his way home, and recognizes him, the witchers are up for an interesting winter. ... Or: Geralt never let the bard come truly close, but at the same time never imagined him truly gone. After he's left regretting his words at The MountainTM, he is presented with the bard cursed, and confronted with the result of his actions. Will the bard ever forgive him? And if he did, would that be enough to try and fix this? ... My intention was to write about 10k words of fluffy cuddling to break a curse, but then the angst came. This is the result. ...
