The life, death, and life again of Chrysanthemum Hartley. A simple human girl that was plucked like a petal from a wilting flower. Cherished by time, she is not allowed to die with the rest of the weeds. Some demons don't wait and take what they want from the beginning, while others are sadistic and prefer to play with their prey. This is the story of the prey as she maneuvers her way through the Devildom as an exchange student and finds her calling to magic. // Based on Obey Me! Shall we date? - I do not own the characters other than my OCs // This is my telling of my MC's story. Canon characters will have my headcanons, and this will be how I interpret the canon setting of the franchise. // // Each chapter will have appropriate trigger warnings (TW) or content warnings (CW) for any sensitive content it may contain. Their voice sounded normal, but didn't feel quite right. - Well, that's understandable, you've only just arrived after all. She was barely following the conversation. Her head was still throbbing in pain and there was a buzz in her ears. The individual's next statements didn't help at all, either: - As a human, it will probably take a while for you to adjust to things here, in the Devildom. "As a human"? "Adjust"? "The Devildom"? "What were they talking about? Why did they spoke like an alien?" That was all her mind could form: questions. One moment she was walking the streets close to her home, and then she was... here, hearing to all that blabbering... ... "What is happening?!"
