Men love regular visits to their favourite barber (Kinyozi). In Africa and Kenya for that matter, the barber was always a man, until in the recent past when women have dared to venture into this business. To win more male customers and beat this patriarchal belief, these women barbershop entrepreneurs have devised unique ideas to stay afloat. They offer extra services after the normal shave like waxing, massaging, etc. This story delves into the challenges posed by these new barber shops to marriages and the wellbeing of men. This story is about the discovery of Mama Brandon on why her husband loves regular shaves even when he's conspicuously balding. Her discovery leads her to jail and eventually a national hero for other women.

I was standing in the middle of a rural Kenyan village, watching a band of savage men burn down houses with people inside. This is a raw and honest story about a white-Canadian-middleclass-suburbanite stuck in the middle of an East African tribal war. Your everyday Gord, surrounded by burning, looting and murder. This is my personal account of the 2007/2008 Kenyan civil war, and if you don't know, now you know.

Nadia William is caught in the heat of family drama, business rivalry, and the unmistakable desire for a man who might be in the middle of it all. *** His potent preeminence with a blend of restraint made every lingering touch exceedingly soft and tauntingly slow. After a short while, her defiance melted away and she allowed herself to own her vulnerability. With a subtle shift in her body, her desires simmered to the surface, and for the first time, her lips moved voluntarily. Though shaky at first, she caught up with his intensity, and their motion became synchronized - a symphony of shared longing and mutual desire for each other's touch. As their tongues intertwined she tasted something in his breath; sweet hints of caramel and cloves with spicy undertones. As they continued their delicate dance of intimacy another flavor became evident. Notes of toasted wood and the subtle smokiness like that of peated whisky. But with cinnamon and cloves? Bourbon! That was it. His breath tasted of good old oak-kissed bourbon. ........................................................................
