Alec Lightwood was twenty-six, with two published novels, a charming apartment filled with books and artwork, and a complete lack of understanding when it came to diaper technology. He never expected to be the one to fold tiny clothes and puree carrots into mush, all while brainstorming plot twists at 3 a.m. as the baby monitor crackled softly in the background. Then, six years later, came the diabetes. Eight-year-old Fran hated her insulin pump. Her doctor suggested a supportive tattoo. She also recommended a tattoo artist: Magnus Bane. English is not my first language, so please go easy on me. Please don't compare the characters with the characters in Cassandra Claire's books. In my story, you will only find references to the TV show. (I don't own any of the characters. All belong to Cassandra Claire. The story is my own.)

Magnus Bane is a professional journalist. He has interviewed politicians, artists, and eccentric personalities without batting an eye. But no guest has ever thrown him off balance quite like Professor Alexander Gideon Lightwood. Maybe it's his calm voice. Maybe his sharp, intelligent gaze. Or maybe... it's that damn pair of glasses.

Alec is promoted to Captain and has to lead his team for the first time instead of just following orders. He later gets assigned a specialist on Daemonic artefacts to his team. If getting used to a new role was difficult, with this new chaotic element, it gets even more challenging. Let's be real, I just wanted Magnus with a mind meld ability. :D It is light military sci-fi/fantasy focused on relationships, TSC characters in Mass Effect AU with my own tweaks. (You don't have to know Mass Effect to understand this setting; it is just sci-fi. :) )

Magnus Bane swore to himself, when he left a year ago, that he would never step foot in his hometown of Idris again. The small town full of bigots and racist assholes was not his home any longer, not after what had happened. An important event for his best friend, Clary, however, tests that resolve. He has to be there for his friend, even if it means facing... him. Family duty calls on Alec Lightwood once again. Can he push his own pain aside to be there for his brother? Even if it means facing... him? This work is not to be reposted or translated without my permission. The characters belong to cassie Claire and free form.

Eternity is taxing. It leaves you with a sense of hopelessness, a feeling that the never-ending life will always be shrouded in darkness. Alina Belcourt wished it hadn't been so cliche; meeting a boy that makes her feel things again. But existing as a Vampire for 102 years had given her nothing but the unexpected.

Magnus Bane has endured centuries, but suddenly even his eternity seems to falter. An incurable illness is slowly stealing the light that keeps him alive. For Alec, a desperate fight against time begins: he scours books, clings to hope, and searches for even the faintest spark of salvation. Between hope and despair, memories and silence, every moment becomes precious. What remains when time is no longer on their side? Can a love be stronger than the end? A story about closeness and farewell, about the fragility of moments-and about a promise that continues to shine even in the darkness.

Magnus Bane was thirty-three, the world's first trillionaire, a man who had built an empire so vast it seemed to stretch across continents. He owned villas perched on cliffs, sprawling estates, penthouses with views of entire cities, fleets of cars and yachts, art collections, and companies whose influence dictated markets. He was brilliant, sharp-minded, and dangerously intelligent dominant by nature, short-tempered when tested, yet always fair in his own ruthless way. Handsome and magnetic, his body looked as though it had been carved by gods themselves. Magnus lived as men of his stature often did he indulged his appetites. Models, actresses, heiresses, socialites his bed was rarely cold. But for all his ruthlessness, he was not unkind. With the world he was merciless, yet with his family retired and peaceful in their Boston estate he remained a dutiful son. Discipline ruled his life. Each morning at precisely eight, he left his mansion flanked by bodyguards to command the empire he had built, Bane Enterprises. Alexander Lightwood was twenty-seven when he joined Bane Enterprises, a man brilliant in mind and beautiful in form. Tall and lean, with a sharp jawline and a complexion clear as glass, he carried himself with quiet dignity. The beloved son of Robert Lightwood, a retired surgeon, and Maryse Lightwood, a devoted mother, Alec had left his California home for Boston chasing new dreams. He wanted to learn, to grow, to make his mark and the greatest company in the world was his chosen stage. Magnus Bane who had ruled, conquered, and indulged without ever surrendering had fallen. Not gradually, not carefully, but completely. From the moment he saw Alec, he was lost. He tried to resist. He dated women, men, anyone who could distract him from the pull of that one man. But at the end of every night, his thoughts returned to Alec.

Alec has always hated his full name-Alexander-seeing it as nothing more than a reminder of reprimands and expectations. But Magnus changes everything. In his voice, "Alexander" becomes something else entirely: a melody of love, a whispered promise, a declaration of devotion. Through moments of tenderness, passion, and even conflict, Alec learns to hear his name the way Magnus speaks it-not as a burden, but as something sacred.
