There's nothing worse than depression, especially in Lorelei's situation... She had been born a normal girl. There was nothing different about her, at least that's what everyone else thought. She only realised her problem once she was in her early years of high school. Lorelei wasn't sick. She wasn't diagnosed with anything, she was just one of a kind. But one day when she realises that her depression is what makes her little unique habit more noticeable to society, everything changes. All it took was depression, a selfie and Lorelei being in the wrong place in the wrong time. That's all it took to change her life and the world forever. 'I looked down at the hills and fields below from where I was standing; I could feel the cool breeze blowing toward me, sending chills down my spine. A billion thoughts were making my head spin, I felt no fear, even though my greatest fear was heights. Right now, nothing could stop me. I just wanted to let go of it all, just to close my eyes and fall. I stretched out my arms, ready to fall forward to the bottom of the cliff from where I was standing. This was always my favourite spot, I had always ridden my bike here even from when I was young. And now, it would be the last place I ever was. I began to fall forward. I closed my eyes and felt myself be taken by the wind as I fell. It's too late now. This is the end for me I thought to myself as I got closer to the ground. I opened my eyes; Closer, closer..... It all went pitch black.'

'Fox-Ears' of the Mountain pack is unhappy at having to leave her mother and sister. But she's excited at growing up away from home, she's only been in the new pack a few weeks when she knows something is wrong. Tearing herself away and going to find her original pack she finds her mother 'Sandy' and sister 'Silver-Mist' infected by a growing sickness in the forest . She wants to keep herself safe but she doesn't want to lose her sister. A wolf cannot be of two packs.
