_____________
Hermione has received a full scholarship to Oriel Kambria, a University that can offer her everything she desires (namely being set on the path to becoming a Psychiawitch). That is, until she comes face to face with Draco Malfoy. After the Battle of Hogwarts she hadn't expected to see him, but there he is, as arrogant as ever. It takes one interaction for Hermione and Draco to fall into the same pattern that they had before-with pointed insults and contempt.
Things change when she's taken hostage by the University's elite secret club and immediately becomes the target of pureblood bullying.
Enter her childhood nemesis, Draco Malfoy.
She's despised him for as long as she's known him, and now he's the only one who can keep her alive.
All they have to do is pretend.
Pretend that she is his and keep the game going to survive.
Hermione and Draco are drawn deeper into a web of secrets, lies, and deception as they navigate the ruthless underbelly of a university founded on corruption, all the while managing the trials of academic life.
Hating Draco has always been easy, until their forced closeness causes Hermione to reevaluate everything she thought she knew about him, revealing desperation and passion she never knew existed.
And you know what they say.. there is always a fine line between madness and desire.
