There's a new recruit in the 118 named Edmundo Diaz. After a while Buck and Eddie become best friends, and after awhile they start to see each other differently; Eddie likes that Buck is like a parent to Christopher. Buck finds himself seeing Eddie and Christopher and sometimes wishes he was Christopher's parent.

After the lawsuit and their talk at the grocery store, Bobby, Hen, Eddie and Chimney didn't talk to Buck. Maddie suggested something to Buck, but she didn't expect how that would affect Buck.
