[SOULMATE AU] Y/n L/n is almost obsessed with finding her soulmate, craving romantic love from someone. However, the bracelet which holds her soulmate's name has given her a title that she has never encountered before. 'Alatus'. She's desperate to find Alatus, even though he's been in front of her the entire time. Xiao, one of her best friends, believes he isn't good enough to be Y/n's significant other, so he never said anything. He stays silent for years, until he realizes just how upset Y/n is that she hasn't met her soulmate yet. At that point, he decides to reveal the truth, in hopes of making his love feel better.

Y/n L/n was used to being alone, or having people leave her. She was adventurous and wished to see the world. Sadly, she wasn't allowed to. She longed to watch the sunset from the highest cliffs in Liyue with someone she loved. She couldn't, but she had hope for the future. Thankfully, she met Xiao, who decided not to leave her. He was difficult to get to, but Y/n somehow found a way through his cold exterior to see his real heart. After meeting him, she gained so many more chances to see higher places.
