A World War we know but some things changed. The story follows a man's naval logs who grew up in the Russo-Japanese war, becoming an admiral suddenly and guiding the Empire of Japan into a new path. Based on real events that happened, but changed for the sake of the lore (for example, it will be displayed in our calendar, not the Japanese one for ease of understanding but keep in mind that in-universe they still use what they did in our time) so you can say it's an alternate reality. Disclaimer: Work in Progress English isn't my first language so any kind of misspelling/grammar error is on me As I mentioned above, the Japanese calendar of the time had been changed to the Gregorian Calendar of the West for ease of reading and also because I don't want to research that for just one story This is solely a hobby project, I'll try to finish it and listen to some advice but given that this is my first ever story I really want to make it as I want to. Criticism is very welcome. Have fun 😊

Stephanie opened up the dented package with caution, not knowing who or where it came from, but it was addressed to her. As she unraveled the over tapped bubble wrap in her hands, Stephanie revealed the dingy pocket watch wrapped inside with a note attached to the lid. It read: Protect at all cost... Two years later, Stephanie was a freshman in high school and starting her journey in finding herself in two separate worlds: one on Earth as a simple teenager, and the other as a protector of the pocket watch she received that held its own world. With heightened senses, telepathic abilities, otherworldly weapons, and a pair of outstretched crow wings, Stephanie was on a mission to keep these worlds apart from one another. When Stephanie's greatest enemy passes into Earth in search of the watch and the power contained therein to merge the two realities into one, she needs help from her peers. In a constant mindset of prey versus predator, the equally and powerful enemy nears his completion to gaining the watch. Stephanie must determine how far she is willing to go to keep the pocket watch from falling into the enemies hands. Will she risk her friends' lives in order to save both worlds?
