Wally West is part of an internationally famous band called Young Justice. He and his friends recently finished an album featuring the also-internationally famous singer, Artemis Crock, and they go on tour with her. They've toured with her before, but not on a year-long scale like they are now. Artemis is clearly keeping secrets, and it doesn't help that every country that they visit loses a priceless object. They start to wonder if sweet, depressed Artemis is the culprit. Wally really wants to believe that it wasn't, as he's had a crush on her for two years. Artemis Crock is no thief, not anymore. But her father and boyfriend are. When the teen goes on tour with Young Justice, Lawrence "Crusher" Crock and Cameron Mahkent see an opportunity and they take it. Artemis wants to stop them, but doesn't see how she can with their heavy threats hanging on a string over her head. She knows the band is starting to suspect her, and she tries to find a way to prove she's innocent. After all, she can't have her crush of two years thinking that she's a thief. Artemis Crock is the new prison guard at Belle Reve Penitentiary, the criminal housing unit for metahumans. She knew her job would be hard, but she never expected to fall for one of her captives, a young, hotheaded and wildcard criminal, the son of the Reverse Flash, Black Velocity. When she is personally put in charge of finding the villain, after he escapes single handedly, all of her morals are put to the test, and she must make the difficult decision whether to do as told, or lose everything to stand alongside Black Velocity. Will Artemis risk everything, just to learn more about the criminal behind the mask, and who he truly is, and to maybe, just maybe, fall in love with him? Wally West is known as the Team's happy, always moving speedster. He is supposed to have a normal home life that is filled with everything good, however, that isn't the case. When he doesn't show up for practice, the Team goes to investigate where their happy-go-lucky speedster is, and learns his dark secret. One that is just as dark as some of theirs... One that will change the course of all their lives, in just one night.... I am so sorry, but this has been on my mind for awhile, and I really feel like I need to do a sad/angsty Wally book, or else all of my emotions will be brought up.
