As the blood seep into his cloth from the arrow that hit his chest, the blood touched the talisman. It activated the talisman, a bright light surrounded the whole place. The talisman take four people back to the past: Lan Zhan, Lan Xichen, Jiang Wanyin and Wei Wuxian. The next thing all four of them knew they were in the past. It was during the ceremony to give the gift to Lan Qiren.
