Once upon a time, there was a fearsome pirate captain and a lost princess. They were both from the other ends of the world, yet fate somehow has bigger plans for them. Their lives were intertwined just as their pasts were. A Lost Girl and a Lost Boy. A Pirate and a Princess. A Captain and a Swan.

When Emma is left with a heavy choice: keep her happy ending or give everyone else their's, she does what's best. But what toll will that have on her family? On Killian? Can they really have their happy endings without her? Rumple has lost the powers of the Dark One but even so, Belle isn't sure she can forgive him. What will become of Belle and Will's budding romance? Regina and Robin have been reunited, but their relationship has become strained yet again. And nothing can be done this time. How will the residents of Storybrooke cope with losing their saviour? Where is Emma and will she ever be reunited with her family?
