Jack Marston is at a low point in his life. His family is dead, Beecher's Hope is in ruins, and he has nothing left to live for. Most days he spends so drunk he can barely remember anything, he kills and robs people at will, and there isn't an ounce of honor left in his body. But then one day, in Casa Madrugada, he saves a prostitute named Eva Cortes from being beaten to death by her pimp, Mario Alcalde. For the first time in a long time, Jack has someone to talk to, someone with emotional scars and baggage of her own. Jack finds a kindred spirit in Eva because she gives him hope and purpose, two things he hasn't had for a long, long time. But Mario Alcalde isn't willing to let Eva slip through his fingers so easily... Based on the "Eva in Peril" side mission in RDR1

This is a collection of one-shots that takes place in my Traveler Trilogy series. In the Traveler Trilogy, Arthur does not die and is instead brought to the present day by Charles Smith and Francis Sinclair, who save his life by bringing him to a modern hospital for treatment. This is part of the Traveler Trilogy series. Book One is called Pipe Bomb Dream, is now finished, and you can find it on my profile. I am currently working on book 2, entitled Cowboys and Angels, and I add a chapter every week, usually on Friday. Book 3 has not been written yet. This is just a collection of one-shots meant to flesh out the series and add lore to the trilogy as a whole. There are some explicit ones, but most of these are wholesome, little short stories. I'll add notes to the explicit chapters in case you want to skip those. All the rest are fairly tame in terms of smut and gore.

The Dustbowl and tequila aren't likely to erase the regrets haunting the Fourth Horseman, but when annihilation is your sole purpose how can you find substance for your soul? "A provocative moral tale as much about embracing life as meeting Death." Sometimes prayers are best left unanswered. After the equivalence of centuries worth of service as Death, the former man is left wondering whether dying would have indeed been a more desirable option. The buzz of phasing in and out of temporal existence and lopping off heads only lasts so long. But when Death chooses to act on an event he recognizes as an "act of God," he discovers his calling to be more nobel than he thought. "Never has Death been so human as a kiddie pool, a folder chair and a bottle of regret. If only the other three horseman could be as easy to relate to."
