After rebuilding the Hazbin Hotel, Lucifer finds himself annoyed to be consistently in the presence of Alastor the Radio Demon, and the host of the hotel. As they live together, Lucifer realizes his true emotions towards the Radio Demon, confused with how to act on them. Alastor, for the first time, is confronted by these feelings, but is adamant on shutting them down.

Lucifer is said to have been born in a laboratory and is now utilized as a test subject. He once trusted a scientist only to be misled; since then, he has grown to loathe humans even more, until he meets Alastor, a one-of-a-kind scientist who may be the person he can trust and fall for.
