Muichirou ya no es el mismo de antes. Ya no es aquel chico risueño, atento y dulce que alguna vez conoció Tanjirou. Ahora parece ser alguien completamente diferente y con un sentido de posesión incontrolable. Pero, ¿por qué cambió tanto? Bueno..dejemos que el propio Kamado nos lo explique.

Tanjiro se sintió destrozado cuando perdió a su familia. La única que le quedaba era su hermana Nezuko, quien se había convertido en un demonio. El mismo prometió cuidar de ella para que pudiera volver a ser humana. Por suerte para él, sus amigos, Zenitsu e Inosuke, le apoyaron y ayudaron en su misión. Tanjiro tenía a su hermana y a sus amigos para hacerle compañía, pero a pesar de eso, se seguía sintiendo bastante vacío, pero él no sabía por qué. Por suerte para él, ya sea buena o mala, algunos de sus amigos harían casi cualquier cosa para llenar ese vacío porque él era muy especial para ellos, y en más de un sentido.

Tanjirou was on his way back to his house when he smelled a metallic scent in the distance. He rushed back to his house not even minding the cold weather but it was too late, when he arrived at his house all he sees is his family being eaten by a creature ( not muzan ) he grabbed his axe then hit the creature with it, it did cut off the demons head but it just regenerated. While the demon was regenerating tanjirou took this chance to run up to his family who is turned to pieces by the demon, tanjirou couldn't move anymore but the demon can, when the demon was just about to hit tanjirou, his head and body blew up because of the man behind them, tanjirou looked back and saw a man with a fedora hat and is in a suit. So Tanjiro went to sell his coal but Nezuko went with him to sell some of her mom bread to gain extra money. What if tanjiro left early and left Nezuko to continue selling her mother's bread. What if Nezuko arrived late home to find her family killed but her brother a demon. And what if instead of letting Nezuko and her brother go, they where escort to the Ubuyashiki house to have an trail right way. Mientras tanto Kotetsu claramente no presta atención ya qué según él, es una materia múy dificil, ademas de qué él profesor Tokito lo pone extremadamente nervioso con su personalidad inexpresiva y seria en algunas ocasiones.
