Looking at the motivational poster, I couldn't stop myself from snorting at the ridiculousness of it all. 'Why fit in, when you were born to stand out?' Who ever came up with that masterpiece was clearly not a wolf-shifter or had ever been a teenager. I would have killed to fit in - literally. ---- When you're a single, twenty-four year old wolf-shifter, that is unable to actually shift, pack is the over extended family you try to avoid at Christmas. No matter how hard she has tried to blend in, Samara Franklin has been cursed with not only the inability to shift, but to be what is termed a 'lone wolf'. She has no desire to be one of the pack, to follow her alpha's lead and has always preferred her own company over that of her family. For a race that is so co-dependent on one another, Samara just isn't. Yet it's more than that, Samara knows it, feels it, but what exactly it is, is something she has been unable to discover. Now with reports of someone hunting her kind, could the answers she's been looking for finally be found?

"Darling." He smirked and eyed my lips. "Promises can be broken." "I don't break promises," I aimed to assure. "I know because I know you." He stretched his palm to caress my chin and this time, I didn't flinch. "How?" I croaked. "Because I've watched you." His hand moved to brush my hair away from my face. "I know about your schedule, when you sleep, how you like your tea, how you interact with strangers, even down to the kind of shampoo you use." He is a stalker, get away from him! My subconscious screamed at me Instead of me to do that, I did the opposite by asking. "Why, do you know all these?" He simply chuckled and inched his face closer, we stared into each other's eyes for what felt like a decade before he shifted to my ear and whispered. "Because you are my mate." ^^^^^^^^^^^^ Tanya Marie Andre. A female writer who has read many werewolf books but never believed them to be real. Diego Dante Domino. "But... How can I be your mate?" She whispered, lowering her head. "I'm a human. Humans and werewolves can't be mates." Slowly, he reached for her face and tipped her chin up, forcing their eyes to meet. Though his expression was inscrutable, there was a perceptible fondness in his eyes whenever he looked at her. I couldn't stop my eyes as they wandered around his body, looking at each and every curve and line. Though what caught my interest was his wolf mark, one that every wolf has. His was a intricate design on his bicep that I was itching to touch. It went perfectly with his tanish skin and blonde hair. He was like a Roman $ex God, and I wouldn't mind "praying" to him, any day. "Eva,'' I looked up at Will's face, but my eyes decided to do they're own thing and traveled down his muscular body, eventually landing on his abs. God! They don't even deserve to be called abs. They're more like a diamond washboard, that I feel tempted to wash my clothes on! Someone bring me the Downy! His eyes turned a few shades darker then, his skin so close to mine that the heat radiated between our bodies. He moved closer, his crystal blue eyes a midnight blue, warming me to my core. He wanted me just as badly as I wanted him. This was a battle between Alphas, who will dominate? Game on Mr. Sexy Piece of A$s.
