It has been weeks since the prophecy had been fulfilled, and Fontaine had been having constant rain. Wriothesley hasn't been outside the Fortress of Meropide since the prophecy, and has gotten barely any communication. When he decides to go out one day, it's raining. And he is greeted by a teary eyed Iudex Neuvillette. They have tea together, and everything seems to goes back to normal.
