Young healer Hailwatcher has been thrust into being ShadowClan's sole medicine cat after the death of his mentor, and his leader's isolationism has rendered him woefully unprepared and unable to finish his training. Now he is faced with the difficult option of devoting his life to his clan or go back to becoming a kittypet when forest life gets too hard-what choice will he have to make next?
