March 2024 edit: I am not that proud of how the first few chapters turned out and I would prefer to rewrite them some time. They are not my *best* work, but they are not that bad. Parts of it just acts like one. - It's been 7½ years since the last story. Everything is going well, perfect, if you might say- Sid has finished college and is finally getting a career started, Sydney has a small job in mechanics and is now getting along with Zuzu, and Peter exists. But something's.. off. Not off, but.. off? It's everything that Sid's worked for, they deserve this, but.. it's just off. It doesn't help that it's back. The.. feeling. It's back. It's not good. It feels worse. It'll be okay. They can do this, Sid can do this. Everyone. Will be okay. -
