Set within the timeline of The Walking Dead, this story follows Maisie Harper's journey from a scared child to a hardened survivor, exploring grief, resilience, her past - and how much people can change when the world does.

Abigail "Gail" Grimes is the eldest child of Rick and Lori Grimes. When the world as she knew it crumbles around her, she finds herself camped out in a quarry with a bunch of strangers. One in particular -Glenn Rhee- gifts her a tattered old journal he found on one of his supply runs. Being the history geek she is, Abigail decides to start recording her experiences in this zombie-infested world. Based on the events of The Walking Dead. Will Kayc choose the right choices? Or will the wrong ones lead to dreadful consequences? Only time will tell.
