After Nori's death, Khan is really struggling to take care of Uzi. He's still grieving, and his daughter looking just like his dead wife isn't helping. She's growing up into a young woman so fast, and Khan has no idea how to guide her into being one. He was never a young woman, what does he know? Fortunately a new woman, J, has entered his life, and despite her cold business focused attitude, she may be able to help him move on. She's not a replacement for his wife, no one could do that, but this new woman might just be what he needs in his life. A year after his mother and little sister were killed by his stepmother, N moved to a new town under witness protection. It's not all bad, he's already made friends with a couple of cheerleaders, jocks and other popular kids. Some of them even seem interested in him. But he has eyes for the quiet goth girl. He wants to get closer to her, and eventually even manages to get invited into her house. But he quickly gets scared for her when he sees her father's new boo is a bit too eerily familiar.
