A Narnia fanfiction. It was barely a glimpse - startling eyes the colour of fresh spring leaves met his from across the room. Those very same eyes widened, her fists clenching at her sides. He'd met women before who'd turn their heads and pretend they were interested in the hope that it would interest him. But those emerald eyes had widened in something akin to recognition...and fear. During Narnia's Golden Age, a new threat rises to challenge the Kings and Queens of Narnia. And an old threat that Edmund had hoped to never see again.

A Tale of the King of Old and the Princess of New... Joellen was a beautiful girl. For 14 years she has lived alongside Trumpkin, Trufflehunter, and Nikabrik. But the previous 5 years before that, she can't remember anything at all. The Telmarines invaded Narnia 1,288 years ago. Joellen is now 19 years of age and has grown up with the stories of Aslan and when Narnia was in the "Golden Age." She wishes it could be like that again. But it is only when the Prince of the Telmarine Castle appears in front of their home, that things start to go down hill. But little did she know that that was the start of something that was going to change her life forever.

𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 '𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞' 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 Once upon a time, in a faraway land- well, actually near the faraway land of fantasy of which we know much about- there lay a small country named Rihaaya. It was small in terms of its geographical borders but its population was vast and ever increasing, with the agricultural production (for that was the main means of livelihood) flourishing and growing leaps and bounds. It was not a young Land- it had lasted centuries upon centuries, and was ruled by a caring and clever Queen and her kind and benevolent King- but, due to some international worry, it needed the protection of a larger and stronger land. Naturally, the most reasonable thought to secure this protection the King and Queen had was that of a marriage alliance- for, that would guarantee protection and security for years and hopefully generations to follow. And they were most pleased once they received word from the High King of Narnia- who had seen the advantages of marrying into a bountiful Queendom that had an abundance of grains and natural resources- that they were willing to accept the alliance and union. Really, there were only two opposers to this idea.
