Shadow the Hedgehog has finally found a sense of peace, even if it's in a cheap, run-down apartment on the outskirts of Station Square. That peace is shattered when a teenage look-alike shows up at his door, claiming to be his clone from the future. Skeptical and unwilling to entertain the idea, Shadow dismisses the teen's story. But when an old enemy reemerges, Shadow starts to realize there might be some truth to the stranger's claims. Forced out of his isolation, Shadow reluctantly teams up with Sonic, Rouge, Silver, and-much to his annoyance-Blaze to confront this looming threat and protect their future. Along the way, Shadow begins to uncover startling truths about the so-called clone, revelations that turn his world completely upside down.
