Sonic decides to have Christmas at his house. And for the week leading to Christmas, he invites all of his close friends including Shadow, his rival, to a get together on Christmas Eve... During the time before, Sonic invites his mom and siblings for the week before Christmas. But the day before, something happens where Shadow is there too. Once a freak storm sets in and nobody can leave, sonic finds himself sharing his room With Shadow. How will the two react during the week, and will they become friends? Or maybe even more... Sonic and Shadow are enemies right? I mean, everytime they meet they're always fighting each other. Do they like that? Is that how thing will be forever? It seems so because apparently Shadow doesn't want friends, but maybe that could somehow change. Maybe someone can pull him out of the dark, someone can help him up. Someone who has encountered him many times.

Shadow and Sonic are assigned a very dangerous mission with Rouge and Omega. This isn't a problem for Rouge or Omega, but the two hedgehogs aren't so happy about it, since they both secretly have feelings for one another. No one knows about Shadow's feelings and no one knows about Sonic's. The problem? Homosexuality is illegal. (Ps. It's nothing like the movie "Mission Impossible")

Sonic and the gang are back in High School and are going on a camping trip - mandatory to graduate from grade 12. Shadow and his friends Maria the hedgehog, Rouge the bat and Rock the unicorn are constantly butting heads with Sonic and his friends Knuckles the echidna, Amy the hedgehog and Tails the fox (who is now magically the same age as the others. Shhhh....). All the while Sonic and Shadow must hide their feelings from everyone around them - including each other. Shadow must embark on a mission, but Rouge isn't here with him this time, so he's forced to take Sonic instead. They hate each other, down to the very guts, but as the mission continues and they become lost in the wilderness, they must work together to survive the deadly harshness of the rainforest and the mysterious creature following them. Sonic and Shadow hate each other. They don't ever want to be with each other and when they have the chance, they will stay away from each other at all cost. But, when it comes to work they are both partners in crime. Sonics forced against his will to work for G.U.N and after threatening to kill his dear brother, it works. Sonic spotted Shadow outside of the village one day. Curious, he decided to follow him to see what is up with the dark hedgehog. After finding out the reason why Shadow likes being alone in that one particular cave, he decided to stick around and company him. It makes Sonic realize that Shadow isn't really that evil and it also makes him grow closer to the dark hedgehog. SFW book.
