Princess zelda struggling to awaken her sacred power learns to love by her knight. The tension slowly building between them... Starting as a fiery hate towards Link turns into an undeniable passionate love story of forbidden love and desire of closeness in secret. Peeling back Link's hardend exterior revealing his heart, Zelda yearns to be free with him in the open. A zelink fanfic occuring before the events of breath of the wild. Not everything is canon. Some dialogue, storyline and characters belong to Nintendo.

Zelda doesn't believe in soulmates; Zelda barely even believes in herself. That is, until Link turns up with a sword strapped to his back, heralding the end of times. Now, they must work together to prevent the fall of Hyrule and rise of Calamity Ganon. But, the task proves as tricky as expected, especially when Zelda feels like she's falling faster than her Kingdom...and perhaps in a way she never expected to. Pre-game (and post-game, eventually) fic centred around Link's memories and what might've happened in between them.

However, her heart belongs to another; a poor, commoner boy named Link, whom she believes passed five long years ago. One day, she's taken hostage by a band of vagabonds and a mysterious man in black appears. The unsuspecting princess has no idea she'll be going on the adventure of a lifetime. Being closed off from the world, Zelda is an avid dreamer, and escapes into her thoughts whenever she can, projecting those ambitions onto the beautiful dresses and gowns she makes. One day, a letter from the palace arrives, telling of a ball that is to take place at the royal palace in celebration of Prince Link's birthday. The young princess soon finds herself placed under a wicked curse, destined to die by the touch of a Silent Princess flower. Fighting to save her life, Link, accompanied by their friends, must find a way to the break the evil curse before Zelda becomes only a memory from once upon a dream.
