Follow the journey of Eleanor, the only female glader, as she struggles to adjust to her new life in the Glade that takes her on a journey of love, loss, and friendship. (Gally x OC) Some notes to add: The central romance plot is between Eleanor and Gally but there is a subplot of Newtmas obviously. The story is inspired by the movies only, because the lore of the books goes quite deep and I don't think I will be able to write up to a standard that honors James Dashner's amazing legacy. Also, Eleanor is named after Eleanor Roosevelt which sticks to the idea that all main characters are named after famous scientists, inventors, and activists. Finally, this will be a three-part book for each movie and just to clarify, no smut! 𝘎𝘌𝘕𝘌𝘚𝘐𝘚, the way in which something comes to be. a new beginning, a birth, an origin. [0.1 - 0.30] takes place before the first movie. this is essentially me seeking comfort in this universe, writing as i go, so things might not be 100% correct according to the books. but it does build tension, feelings, and a better sense of friendship for when the movies take place. it's worth it! [1.1 - ?] the maze runner. [2.1 - ?] the scorch trials. [3.1 - ?] the death cure.

The Labyrinth (1): She arrived with no warning. Only what she can piece together in her mind can she survive the Maze and it's inhabitants. 'You don't belong here.' 'Get out!' I winced in pain. The boys roared with laughter, distracting themselves at my amusement. I scrambled back. The words setting me on fire. I didn't give them a chance to react. I forced myself up from the floor and sprinted away. I hadn't thought further ahead then go. I hadn't thought of a direction to go, let alone where an exit would be. That was until I saw a very large dark opening right in front of me. ~*~ The Storm (2): The Maze was were she thought she belonged. The Scorch is where she will find her answer. But is it the one she was looking for? "My, my, my," she spoke to the sleeping girl. "What a muddle you have gotten yourself into. I hope you're ready for what's to come."
