********************************************** I stand up, not being able to handle this, "You're telling me, we're moving to some hick town in the middle of hell, two months into my senior year of high school?" My voice getting louder, "What kind of nightmare is this? You're joking right?" I stop pacing and turn to my parents. "This is all a joke. Mom would never leave this," I motion around me, "New York, none the less." Mom nods, "We're moving to Eatonton, Georgia and that's final." ********************************************** Trade in your Coach purse for some Mossy Oak, Your BMW for a pickup truck, Your high heels for some cowgirl boots and Your high class man for a good 'ol country boy. Trust me Princess....You'll love it. ********************************************** This book is a walking cliche but I hope you will join me in this wild journey of city meeting country. ********************************************** Inspired by Luke Bryan's song "Move"

*COMPLETED* "You think I'd murder you?" He laughed humorlessly. "I- what?" I stuttered, looking at him with a lost expression. If he didn't want to kill me, what was all of this then? "What's your name, speedy?" He asked after shaking his head. "Why would I-I tell you my name?" I tried to sound brave, but this whole scenario was just freaking me out. "I'll find out, eh?" He gave me a smirk. What? "For what? You can just kill me now. I don't want to live like this anymore." I breathed out. I really don't. His loud and obnoxious laugh pulled me out of my thoughts. What's so funny? "You're funny. But-" He took a step closer and I immediately stepped backwards. "-the stunt you pulled last week-" My back hit the wall and I gasped as he stood only a few inches away from me now. His finger lifted my chin and I gulped. "-was not." His smirk was replaced by a serious expression. His eyes were so dark and captivating, I couldn't look away. "And you know what they say, speedy?" He continued as his eyes flickered towards my mouth. I shook my head and his smirk was back. "Keep your friends close. But-" He clenched his jaw. "Keep your enemies closer."

"You like this, don't you?" Sam grins, running his tongue over his lip ring. "You're turned on by it." "Please," I wave my hand in dismissal. "You are," he accuses, his voice light. He does it again. I can't look away. "Stop." "Why should I? Little Miss 'I hate everyone at Ryder' really does find me irresistible. Who am I to deny her?" Sam's voice has something of an edge to it and my eyes snap to his. "'Little miss 'I hate everyone at Ryder', huh?" I ignore the second part of his jab. "That's right." I lean against my wardrobe, crossing my arms over my chest. "There's only a few people at Ryder I really can't stand, and you're at the top of my list." Sam's eyes narrow on me. "Is that so?" He turns from the mirror and takes a step in my direction. I refuse to back down, tilting my chin up to keep his gaze as he crowds into my space. His eyes hold mine until he's close enough that I can feel the warmth of his breath over my cheeks and his focus shifts to my mouth. He runs his tongue over the lip ring again, and I feel my own lips part slightly as he does it, my breath coming a little faster. My stomach is pulsing with a mix of nervousness and something I'm not totally ready to admit to myself. ---- Logan Grey's a 16 year-old girl with a penchant for Bob Dylan and running long distances. When her father dies suddenly, she and her best friend come up with a scheme to keep her from moving to her grandparents' Ohio estate: two years of boarding at her Connecticut hometown's highly renowned prep school. But a fluke lands Logan in a room with Ryder Academy's hottest, baddest boy and it's pretty obvious they're not going to get along. At least until Sam Evans and his sexy-as-hell lip ring saunter into her life, upending everything she thought she knew. [This story contains strong language and sexual content. You've been warned!]

> A Mafia story that's more silly than serious. #2 in Chicklit 4/12/17 #7 in Humor 13/9/19 #8 in Romance ^ It's midnight once again, and I'm in my cramped room looking at all the old photo albums of my family before the split. Each picture holds a precious memory that's frozen in time. Picture by picture, page by page adds another tear in my eyes. A creak came from outside my bedroom, the teal wallpaper was pealing off the walls. I have been living here for 11 years. I quickly hid the album under my pillow and ran to my closet. She couldn't back yet? She normally comes home around 4am drunk and broke. The slits on the closet doors were my only source of light, that was coming from my lamp in my dimly lit room. My breathing became more rough and my heart was about to smash my ribcage. Wait, I'm a dela Cruz. I fight for what's right and I know how to fight! As I peeked through the gaps on my closet door I seen three men in black masks and suits come through the door. "Find the damn girl" one of the men say, I'm assuming he's the boss. The two men started raiding the bedroom and the bathroom, while the boss of the trio slowly walked directly to the closet. He had his hands on the knob of the closet, my stomach twisted. I backed away slightly to run up and attack the man. He opened the doors and I came flying out in my beautiful pj's. I caught he man by surprise and punched him in the stomach and kicked where the sun don't shine, I kicked hard to make sure he never had babies ever again. "Fuck!" He yelled as he collapsed onto he cold floor. I pulled a smirk on my face, which caused him to shoot a do glare out of those captivating eyes. The two men held me down while the boss rolled about on the floor for about 5 minutes straight, holding where I kicked him. "You just punched a mafia king darling, you're gonna regret it" He whispered softly into my ear while I was held in between the other two. Oh shit, I punched a mafia king!
