Eigentlich hätte es ein wunderbarer Tag werden sollen, aber mittlerweile müsste ich wissen, dass das Leben nicht vor Unglücken, Katastrophen oder Schicksalsschlägen gefeit ist... Dennoch verborg dies gewisse und ungeahnte Überraschungen. Diese Ereignisse spielen etwa zwei Jahrzehnte nach dem Ende meiner Geschichte "Durins Erbe" und ist die Fortsetzung, weshalb es ratsam wäre, das Prequel zunächst zu lesen. Mir gehören nur die Figuren und Inhalte, die ich selber erfunden habe. Der Rest geht auf Tolkien oder Peter Jackson zurück.
