Mistakes were made. A lot of crazy stuff happened. Somehow, multiple people have superpowers. River Michaels is one of these people. She lost two sets of parents, and now she's a fugitive on the streets. She wants to help people, but she can't even use her own powers without damaging herself. Elsewhere, other teenagers are struggling too. If only they weren't so alone... Okay, Calm down. I did not steal this idea from @FanatsyQu33n21, I promise. We have somewhat similar stories, granted, but that's because we came up with the idea together. We kinda had a My Hero Academia version and a version that was more like Marvel or DC. She wrote about the MHA version (it's called Outcasts), and I was like 'That's awesome. I wanna do that.' And I asked permission. So I'm writing the other version. They'll probably end up vastly different anyway. (But seriously, go check her work out. It's amazing. She's a better writer than me.) I still feel guilty for practically stealing the title, but she did give permission, so forgive me. (I'm sorry FanatsyQu33n21). Side notes: River Michaels is based on/was created by @FanatsyQu33n21. Katsuki Bakugou was almost completely deaf. He could barely hear his own explosions anymore, but that didn't stop him from trying to become a pro hero. He couldn't wait to prove everyone wrong when they said he couldn't be a hero because of his hearing loss. He manages to pass the UA entrance exams and gets accepted, along with his childhood friend, Midoriya. They're placed in class 1-A with the luck that the home room teacher actually knows asl. The transition from middle school to high school isn't the smoothest. Navigating through high school and the pro hero world is hard for someone with all five senses, let alone someone who couldn't hear. Katsuki stumbles... a lot. When Midoriya catches him staring at the duel haired boy in their class during training, he's quick to tease him for it. They sign quickly, Katsuki's movements for aggressive than normal. They gain the attention of Shoto Todoroki, who in turn, stares back. It was obvious that they were signing about him, but he had no clue what they were saying. Katsuki catches on to the staring and signs at him, even though he can't understand. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Katsuki turns to the taller boy, clearly in a pissed off mood. "Yes, I am signing about you." He signs at him, knowing that he won't understand him anyway. Midoriya's laugh was heard through the training ground as he saw what his friend signed. Shoto looked at him, completely lost. "He says that yes, he is signing about you." He translated. Understanding takes over Shoto's features as Katsuki realizes what Midoriya must have just done.
