They are stuck in the ring of pride, while what's known as Hellborns can move freely within hell and even leave this place of eternal damnation. However, things get much worse for the Sinners as a yearly event called the 'Extermination' takes place, where Angels rain down from heaven to kill as many sinners as possible. What's left have to pick up the pieces from this so called justified mass murder. Charlie, Lucifers daughter, want's to change this by proving Sinners can be redeemed and allowed into heaven, but many don't believe in her plan.
