Luz Noceda celebrates her first day of a free school week by visiting the fair with King. After a classic mishap, she encounters Amity Blight who doesn't seem to be enjoying her break. A freak infestation has forced her family to evacuate the house and won't be able to return until the exterminators are done. After expressing her plight of being at the mercy of her pestering siblings, Luz offers Amity to stay over at the Owl House for week. Amity accepts, but quickly learns the horror of living in the house of a wild witch and her crush. With each day filled with chaos and trouble that follows the Owl House gang, Amity gets unfortunately pulled into the crossfire. A disastrous week to be sure, but maybe this could also be the chance for Amity to finally tell Luz how she feels. (This story was created before "Agony of a Witch" episode and will be treated as an AU timeline.)

Luz Noceda goes to Hexside University, she's a freshman and barely knows how to keep up with her schoolwork. She lives with her adoptive mother Eda, and Eda's two roommates King and Hooty. Amity Blight also goes to Hexside with her brother Edric and her sister Emira. She works at a coffee shop on campus to help pay for her tuition, since she told her parents she would do it on her own. human AU where both their lesbian and bi panic catch up to them. When Luz manages to succeed in saving Eda from the Emperor, her life goes back to normal for a little while. With Amity being absent from all the action, what with her broken foot being in the way, Luz decides to focus her attention and tend to her friend. 2 years have passed since Amity last saw Luz. Even though she didn't expect to see Luz ever again her feelings for the human girl never changed. The butterflies in her stomach kept flying when she thought about her crush. But just when she was about to loose the last spark of hope something changed on the Boiling Isles. I'm not a native English speaker so forgive me for my horrible grammar :,)

Life isn't easy for Luz or Amity. They've both been abused, been hurt, been traumatized. They've hurt each other multiple times and yet they love each other greatly, strongly. Luz spends years chasing after a crush and only ends up falling, breaking her own heart. She doesn't understand what this feeling is that she has whenever she's around. As time goes by the feeling grows. Amity has those same feelings yet she doesn't know how to contain them. She acts recklessly with her feelings and that can get her in tricky situations. Yet she stands her ground, especially when she's with Luz. She's stronger with her, she's better with her. The thing is, who really knows if Luz acts on these feelings.

After a grudgby accident brings Luz and Amity together, Luz learns the horrifying truth of Amity's past and present while working through her own. Wanting nothing more than to help each other in their time of need, Luz and Amity unintentionally set out on a journey of coping, understanding, and growth as they begin to heal from their respective trauma while being there for one another. Rated T for mild language and depictions abuse. Warnings are available at the beginning of chapters when applicable. Not beta read.
